VHF NFD takes place over 24 hours Saturday 6th to Sunday 7th July. We'd like to put a station on the air - even if not strictly competitive, and probably not operating overnight (but feel free if you're so inclined!) - from near the Engine House, Florence Road, Kelly Bray. If you're interested in helping to run the station please let Roger 2E0RPH ( 2e0rph@gmail.com ) know of your intentions.

The next CARS Monthly Meeting will be at Callington Town Hall Council Chamber on Wednesday the 3rd July, 7pm for 7:30 start as usual, and will feature a half-hour film called "The Silent Listeners" detailing the activities of radio amateurs who were engaged to "listen in" on WWII German radio traffic. A thoughly informative film, very well presented, and worth seeing.

For those of our Members who were not present at the AGM, or havent yet renewed their subscriptions, a gentle reminder that subs are now due: come and make Alastair a happy Treasurer...

If you're unable to get to meetings - either at the Engine House. Florence Road, Kelly Bray, most Wednesday afternoons between 2 and 4, or the CARS Monthly Meetings - but wish to remain a CARS Member, do let us know: that way you won't fall off the mailing list!
