Callington Amateur Radio Society


Thanks to all who visited the Callington and District Amateur Radio Society stand at the Callington Community Day on 27th April.


Visitors were invited to speak with Radio Amateurs around the globe. Via Amateur Radio we took the Callington Community Day to 143 clubs and individuals in 32 countries,


12 year old Seth spoke with "hams" in Austria, Germany and Ukraine - certainly something to talk about at school on Monday.


We had a visit from Peter Watson the Portreeve and Mayor to see what all the fuss was about. And Tony Stentiford our Town Crier spoke with Pim in Sao Paulo Brazil and his big bell sounded across the Atlantic!
